Thriller Opening Research: Music

In order to make our Thriller Opening as effective and suspenseful as it could be, I began to look at music that could match the style of our film.
I listened to a number of different tracks that could be used in the background of our opening, all of which are linked here:
1. This music seems to build very gradually, which I think could work well with our film, since we don't really understand what's happening until a little while in. I especially like the music from 0:50 seconds in, as this is when we can really hear it building up. However, I feel this piece lacks the uncomfortable feeling and isn't as suspenseful as we're looking for.
2. This music could work well very quietly. As of 1:26, I think this music could be effective at the very start of our thriller, as it is slow and quiet and contrasts the quick and loud cuts we will be using for the very beginning, but I believe the contrast will be different and intense. However, I don't feel that it matches or entire thriller opening, therefore if we were to use it it would only be for the very beginning and we would have to find another piece to compliment the rest of the opening.
3. This music is a lot more simple than the other two, which could be more effective as it isn't as striking and noticeable. If we slow it down, it could slow down the opening as a whole and makes the tension build. It could also be used to keep the audience focused on the visual aspects of the opening and less on the music that they are hearing. I especially like from the very beginning. However, it could be classed as boring and too repetitive or just simple. It could also be seen as not matching the genre of our opening.
