Editing (2) : Sound
After filming our final opening, we have been able to begin the editing process. Before we did, however, we felt it would be a good idea to do research on the conventional editing seen in thriller films.
I began with sound by creating a number of different audio effects on a train going past, which I was then able to show to the group to see which they preferred. Overall, they all have a very echo-like effect on them, which is very well linked with thriller as it can make audio seem ambiguous and unpredictable.

After editing the sounds of the train I then began to think that it would benefit more to work with something more significant to our opening, therefore I used Josh's monologue footage to try out the same effects as used on the train sounds.
